Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships programme. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations, we offer awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

Benefits of the Chevening Scholarship

As the scholarship is fully funded it will cover all the expenses:

• Payment of Tuition Fees.
• Economy class Air ticket from your home country.
• An arrival Allowance.
• Visa application fee.
• A departure allowance.
• A contribution of up to £75 for TB testing, where this is required
• A travel top-up allowance
• Living Allowance to cover Accommodation and living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria for Chevening Scholarship

• Be a citizen of one of 160+ Chevening-eligible countries or territories.
• Check your country name for Chevening scholarship: https://www.chevening.org/apply/
• Must have an undergraduate degree.
• Have at least two years of work experience.
• Not have previously studied in the UK through a UK Government funded scholarship.
• Ambition, leadership qualities, and passion.
• Proof of English Language Test proficiency.

Select Courses

You will need to select three different master’s courses. These can be three different courses at the same institution or three similar courses at up to three different universities.

Choose your three courses carefully. You will not be able to change it later.
